Day 1: Arrival – Cairo

We arrive in the land of the Pharaohs, Jacob, Joseph and Israel during the famine. Upon arrival Cairo Airport, our Royal Way representative will meet and assist you crossing the customs hall, then transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 2: Cairo sightseeing

We begin our touring today with some sights of ancient Egypt - some of which date back to 1000+ years prior to Abraham. Visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The Sphinx) a large half-human, half-lion statue. The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only standing wonder from the ancient world, although it is 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list.

Then you will proceed to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces ranges from Pre-dynastic era, Pharonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Pharaonic Gods and Goddess, with option visit to the mummies room at the Egyptian Museum where you may learn about the Great Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in ancient Egypt.

Back to hotel, overnight Cairo.

Day 3: Marah, Amalekites, Mt. Moses

After Breakfast, we cross the Red Sea and enter the wilderness. We traverse the desert till we get to Elim the place of the twelve springs. After taking some spiritual water, we gather enough energy to go deeper into the desert up to Sin, (Exodus 16), the scene of Manna & Quail. Our next stop is Rephidim, where the Israelites fought the Amalekites. Whenever Moses put his arms up the Israelites won, and whenever he put his hands down, the Israelites lost.

Drive to St Catherine where you will check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at St Catherine.

Day 5: Saint Catherine – Red Sea – Aqaba

Early in the morning start the climb of Mt. Sinai where the Ten Commandments were revealed. After such a wonderful mountain trip and a magnificent view, we start our journey descending. On this day, we visit sites in St. Catherine which is the place where Moses climbed up the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments. In the same area, there is the famous Greek Orthodox Monastery which is built around the Burning Bush and the well where Moses met his wife Zebura (daughter of Jethro, the priest of Median). We will also visit the place where the Israelites camped when Moses went to receive the Ten Commandments.

We then travel north viewing the Red Sea en-route to the border crossing between Egypt and Israel. Transferring through Eilat in southern Israel, we arrive in Jordan Aqaba, Biblical Ezion Geber - the lovely seaport of King Solomon. Our lodging this evening will be in Aqaba.

Day 6: Petra – Amman

Breakfast at hotel, check-out, start the visit of Petra from the entrance, go through the Siq until you reach the treasury, and then proceed to Nabatean Tombs, Roman Theatre,

The treasury, El Khazneh, is one of the most elegant remains of antiquity. Beyond El Khazneh we are surrounded on both sides by hundreds of Petra's carved and built structures. Departing Petra, we travel northward on the King's Highway where to the west we view the hills bordering the Dead Sea. This is the area of the hilltop palace/fortress of Machaerus, where John the Baptist was beheaded. We overnight in Amman for this evening.

Day 7: Mt Nebo – Madaba – Nazareth – Cana

Breakfast at your hotel in Amman, check-out then you will meet our guide who will escort you to a drive to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died. Then pass by Madaba to visit the Monastery of St. George which hosts the unique mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan and Holy Land. The map is believed to be the first one for this area, as it was built in the 6th century A.D.

Transfer to Sheikh Hussein Welcomed by our guide at the Sheikh Hussein border. Proceed to Nazareth Church of the Annunciation, Mary’s House, and St. Joseph’s Workshop. Visit Cana, where we renew our marriage vows at the place where Jesus performed His first miracle of changing water into wine.

Dinner and overnight stay at Tiberius

Day 8: Mount of Beatitude – Capernaum- Sea of Galilee

After breakfast visit Mount of Beatitude were Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, continue to Capernaum where we visit Jesus synagogue and the House of St. Peter. Proceed to the Primacy of Peter, where Jesus appeared to his disciples after the Resurrection and where he performed the miraculous catch of the 153 fish and conferred Church authority upon Peter, continue on to Tabgha, the traditional site of the multiplication of loaves and fish followed by a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We travel to Ardent where we renew our baptismal vows right at the Jordan River Mount Tabor.

Overnight stay in Tiberius.

Day 9: Mount Carmel-Haifa-Jaffa –Tel Aviv-Jerusalem

After breakfast visit includes Mt. Carmel, Elijah’s Cave, Haifa, we will be driving through Acre and Caesarea. Drive along the coastal road to visit the old city of Jaffa (Joppa) and see the Church dedicated to St. Peter commemorating his miraculous healing of Tabitha. Travel via Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, visit to Bethany, the house of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. We end the day with a visit to the Western Wailing Wall considered to be the holiest site for the Jews.

Overnight stay at Jerusalem.

Day 10: Mount of Olives - Gethsemane- Jericho-Bethlehem- Dead Sea

After breakfast proceed to Bethlehem the Shepherd’s Field and the Church of Nativity, the Birth Place of the Lord Jesus, Visit St. Jerome’s Grotto where the Bible was translated from Hebrew, then Visit Mount of Olives and visit the Church of Ascension, the church of Peter Noster, descends to Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem,

proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane, Basilica of the Agony and tomb of St. Mary, the traditional House of Capias where Peter denied Jesus thrice and where Jesus was kept in the dungeon. Then visit Jericho where we stop and view Qarantal, the traditional Mount of Temptation and Sycamore Tree. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on the way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and where Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zacchaeus house Dinner Proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth (1305 ft. below sea level), again make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. and overnight stay at Jerusalem

Day 11: Jerusalem Old City – Via Dolorosa – Golgotha

After breakfast, proceed to Jerusalem, we enter the Old City through St. Stephen’s or Lion’s Gate. Continue on foot to the church of Condemnation and Flagellation, where we begin the Via Dolorosa, the last five Stations of the Cross is situated inside the Holy Sepulcher. Also visiting Garden Tomb, the present route, and follow the footsteps of our Lord Jesus on his way to Calvary, culminating the journey to Golgotha and the place of the tomb itself the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit St. Mark Convent, the traditional site where Mary went to sleep after Cruzification, Last Supper Room, where we remember the Last Supper and the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles on Pentecost. Thereafter walk to the Dormition Abby and the traditional site of the Tomb of King David (visit other Upper room). Ein Karem, one of the most beautiful settings near Jerusalem, in the hills next to a little spring.

Though a small Judean village, the area is important to Christian visitors because of the memory of a priest named Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth who lived in the area in: “a town in the hill country of Judea.

Day 12: Departure

Breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your flight back home.
